Don Miller, author of Blue Like Jazz, has come up with something he calls The Open Table. It's a safe environment where anyone who is interested in spiritual matters can come and be respected, appreciated, valued, and heard. It's a group for people who are interested in God, but not necessarily the religious trappings of traditional church services.
