I have 10 Beautiful 8 to 12 week old, purebred Blue Lace Red Wyandottes. These birds are NOT hatchery quality. I've been breeding them for years to as close to SOP as possible.
Wyandottes are a dual purposes haeratage breed that are easy-going, friendly, and winter hardy. They lay medium to large light brown eggs.
I have all 3 color variations blue, black, and splash. The blue gene works on black. 1 copy of the gene turns black to a beautiful blue grey. 2 copies of the blue gene turns the black to a pail, almost white (called splash). If the blue gene is absent, you get a beautiful black with a green or purple irridesent shine.
Chicks are sold as straight run (unsexed).
I can sometimes guess at this age but it is only a GUESS and I make no guarantees.
